We would like Southernwood Castle to become a community for likeminded people to work together and share the space.

We have refurbished the grade 2 listed buildings to be very well insulated using natural materials and installed a ground source heat pump to provide sustainable heating

We are improving the grassland around the site to increase biodiversity

We have begun and will continue planting trees and managing the woodland

We would like to host community events and encourage collaboration

We have set up a food buying group for the community
